The Trick That Has Never Been Done
The Trick That Has Never Been Done is a project created for the inaugural Other Place Art Fair in 2018. Drawing inspiration from Modernist painting, this work combines elements from Paul Klee's Picture Album (1937), Maskelyne's Book of Magic (1936), and everyday life to present two perspectives on the "Indian Rope Trick." This legendary magical feat, which is said to have photographic evidence, is widely recognized as "the trick that has never been done.
