The Trick That Has Never Been Done
The Trick That Has Never Been Done, is a solo project made for the inaugural Other Place Art Fair, 2018. In a nod to Modernist painting, this work combines elements from Paul Klee's "Picture Album" (1937), Maskelyne's Book of Magic (1936), and the everyday to present two perspectives of the "Indian Rope Trick" - a legendary magical feat, of which there is photographic evidence, yet known to all as the "the trick that has never been done".
